The owner of apartment 205 is the Michael Kocáb Foundation, which was established in 2002.

Staying in our apartment therefore has a much greater significance than just enjoying your vacation in the beautiful and peaceful surroundings of the Krkonoše National Park. Each of our guests contributes to a good cause or supports those in need. Thank you.

The foundation aims to support associations whose main goal is to promote and protect human rights and freedoms or to promote and protect national minorities and their integration into society.

The Foundation also has the goal of supporting people who, through no fault of their own, find themselves in a situation of material need or serious physical or mental harm as a result of human evil, supporting outstanding Czech university students in their studies, supporting universities in providing higher education in all types of educational activities, and supporting associations whose main mission is to protect the environment or animals.

Another objective is to support the publication of periodical or non-periodical literary works in the Czech language, to support Czech authors in the creation of literary or scientific works of informational, opinion, or artistic value, and to support radio broadcasters in broadcasting programs of informational, opinion, or artistic value.

Another objective is to support Czech authors or performers in the creation or performance of new works of Czech music, and to support Czech producers of audio or audiovisual recordings of new works of Czech music.
